Return Policy

You may return any new, unused product in the manufacturer's original packaging for an exchange or full refund minus shipping costs within 60 days from the date of shipment.

  • Products that have been installed and used cannot be returned. 
  • Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. 
  • Returns must be packed with appropriate packaging to ensure safe delivery. 
  • Items not packaged sufficiently will be not be refundable. 
  • For your protection, we recommend that you insure the package. 
  • Motherwell Products will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages. All refunds must be processed via the original payment method.
  • All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and shipped pre-paid. 
SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS: Special order products may not be cancelled or returned unless authorized directly by the manufacturer for exchange.
WRONG PRODUCT: Have we shipped the wrong product to you? If we have made an error on your order, please give us a call or email us and one of our associates will arrange for an expedient exchange at no cost to you.
EXCHANGES: If you have changed your mind and simply would like a different product than you originally ordered, we have 2 options available for you: 
  1. We wait until we have received your returned item before we ship out the new product or 
  2. We can ship out the new product right away, charging it to your credit card and then issue a refund when we receive your return.
DAMAGED PARTS: If you have received a damaged part, please call or email us with the invoice number, part number and description of the issue at hand. We will contact you in a timely fashion with further instructions in resolving the matter.
SHIPPING: Orders made through our website will ship out within two business days. This does not include backordered, custom, or in production product.

What information do we collect?
  • We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. 
  • When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. 
  • We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
  • To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested. 
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests. 
  • To quickly process your transactions. 
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature. 
  • If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the "How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?" section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
Do we use "cookies"?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include Motherwell Products USA Inc.. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us? 

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production. 

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
Third party links 

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Limited Product Warranty

Motherwell Products USA, Inc. (“Motherwell Products”) warrants that Product(s) that are purchased through the Motherwell Products Store or an authorized dealer will be free from factory defects, under normal use and service, for a period of ONE (1) YEAR starting from the date of retail sale and delivery (not date of installation) with proof of purchase or THREE (3) YEARS if registered within THIRTY (15) DAYS of purchase with proof of purchase. This Limited Product Warranty does not cover defects or damage due to abuse, misuse or improper installation. This warranty applies to Products you or an aftermarket shop have installed, but only for defects in manufacturing—not conditions caused by the improper installation. 

This Product warranty is separate and distinct from the limited factory warranty that applies to your stock motorcycle. This Product warranty does not extend or modify the factory warranty that applies to your motorcycle. It only covers the Products added to your motorcycle. 

The remedy for breach of this limited Product warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of any component that proves to be defective and does not extend or create liability for consequential damages, costs or expenses, including loss of time, inconvenience, or loss of use of the motorcycle.
Exclusions. This Product warranty shall only apply to Customer and does not cover damage to Products due to external causes, including but not limited to, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, mishandling, improper testing, weather, use of contrary industry practices, or any damage caused by equipment not supplied by Motherwell Products. 

This Product warranty does not cover defects, damage or premature wear to your motorcycle that are caused by the installation or use of Products, even those installed by an authorized dealership. Examples include, but are not limited to mounting hardware, racks, sissy bars, add-ons connected to the factory electrical system, etc. The use of Products not designed and tested for your motorcycle may have negative consequences on the performance of your motorcycle and may create conditions not covered by the limited factory warranty.
Warranty Repair. If the Product does not work as intended by the manufacturer, the Customer’s sole remedy shall be, at Motherwell Products’ discretion, repair or replacement. Motherwell Products, at its sole discretion, may replace or repair the unit determined to be under warranty at the Motherwell Products Warehouse. The labor costs associated with the repair of the Product may be the responsibility of Motherwell Products if determined under warranty. Customer will obtain a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number before shipping the product and related materials to Motherwell Products. RMA numbers can be obtained by sending the information for warranty to warranty@motherwellproducts.com . Customer is responsible for costs associated with return of products for warranty service. Motherwell Products may cover shipping and associated costs within the continental United States. Customers outside of the continental United States are responsible for shipping costs for return of Product to Customer.
Warranty Disclaimer. Except as expressly set forth in this Limited Product Warranty and to the greatest extent allowed by law, Motherwell Products makes no other representations, warranties, or conditions, expressed or implied, including and implied representations, warranties or conditions of merchant ability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and non-interference. Motherwell Products does not warrant that your use of Motherwell Products Products will be uninterrupted or error free. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited in duration to the Limited Product Warranty period, to the greatest extent allowed by law. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this Limited Product Warranty may not apply to you. This Limited Product Warranty is subject to change without notification.

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

Motherwell Products USA Inc. (hereinafter shall be referred to as “Motherwell Products”) Minimum Advertised Price (“MAP”) Policy is designed to help Motherwell Products. Resellers maintain the long-term strength of Motherwell Products’ brand equity by helping them to engage in advertising that best conveys to customers the value of Motherwell Products. Motherwell Products takes great pride in its services and brands. Customers have created great demand for our products and services because they believe that Motherwell Products and services offer superb quality and value. We believe that our MAP policy, more fully described below, will allow resellers to profitably market and effectively promote the value of our products and services to these customers.

1. Resellers may advertise Motherwell Products’ merchandise at or above the minimum advertised price (MAP). Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for those products as displayed in Motherwell Products website motherwellproducts.com and catalog and may be adjusted by Motherwell Products at its discretion. The price list for 2022 can be found here.

1.1. Resellers may distribute or sell Motherwell Products merchandise to sub-resellers for resale only if that sub-reseller enters into a sub-reseller agreement wherein the sub-reseller acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms of Motherwell Products’ MAP Policy. A “sub- reseller” is any individual or company that the Reseller knows has an intention of reselling the product and/or which purchases products in a quantity and type which exceeds an amount that can reasonably be expected to be used or consumed by the individual purchaser. A Reseller shall be responsible for ensuring that its sub-resellers comply with Motherwell Products’ MAP Policy. Upon request, a Reseller shall provide Motherwell Products with information regarding such sub-resellers shall provide details of their agreement and evidence of their adherence to Motherwell Products’ MAP Policy.

1.2. Reseller acknowledges Motherwell Products’ interest in protecting the channel of distribution of the Products and acknowledges that Motherwell Products may, from time to time, direct Reseller not to sell products to certain individuals or entities. Reseller agrees not to sell Motherwell Products USA Inc products to any individuals or entities on Motherwell Products’ “Do Not Sell” list.

2. The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of Motherwell Products, products in any and all media, including, but not limited to, flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail order catalogs, Internet or similar electronic media, email, television, radio, and public signage.

2.1. All advertisements of MAP Product(s) must include Motherwell Products’ model name and a price at or above the MAP.

2.2. Pricing listed on an Internet site is considered an advertised price and must adhere to this MAP Policy, but once the pricing is associated with intent to purchase (added to a secure shopping cart or telephone order) the price becomes the selling price and is not bound by this MAP Policy. Statements such as “add to basket to see price,” or “we will match any price,” “close-out,” “call for price” or statements of similar import are acceptable as long as the advertised price is not less than MSRP. In addition, discounts applied at a virtual or online checkout do not violate this MAP Policy.

2.3. At no time may the Reseller engage in negative promotional advertising that may create an appearance of criticizing Minimum Advertised Price Products, such as “Don’t Buy Motherwell Products’ merchandise … until you check our pricing.”

2.4. MAP products may only be advertised as standalone products and may not include any promotional allowances (e.g. rebates, coupons, free premiums, reward program offerings, etc.), except for Motherwell Products’ authorized promotions (e.g. manufacturer’s rebates).

3. The inclusion in advertising of coupons, promotions, free or discounted products (whether made by Motherwell Products’ or another manufacturer) with a product covered by the MAP policy would be contrary to the policy if it has the effect of discounting the advertised price of the covered product below the MAP. Any general store, catalog, online or website promotion which does not include Motherwell Products’ merchandise should have the exclusion prominently displayed to avoid creating an impression of below MAP pricing.

4. MAP applies only to advertised prices and does not apply to the price at which the products are actually sold or offered for sale to an individual consumer within the Reseller’s retail location or over the telephone. Resellers remain free to sell these products at any prices they elect.

5. MAP does not establish maximum advertised prices. All Resellers may offer Motherwell Products. products at any price in excess of the MAP established for such product.

6. Motherwell Products.’ MAP policy does not in any way limit the ability of any Reseller to advertise that “they have the lowest prices” or, they “will meet or beat any competitor’s price”, or phrases of similar import as long as the price advertised or listed for the products is not less than MAP.

7. From time to time Motherwell Products may discontinue models or engage in promotions with respect to certain products. In such events, Motherwell Products reserves the right to modify or suspend the MAP with respect to the affected products by notifying all Reseller of such change. Motherwell Products further reserves the right to adjust the MAP with respect to all or certain products at its sole discretion upon 7 days advance written notice to its Resellers.

8. Used products can be advertised below the designated MAP so long as the Reseller clearly and prominently discloses that the product is “used.” Motherwell Products defines used products as product obtained by the Reseller through customer return, customer trade-in, demo units, or other means.

9. Motherwell Products may engage in monitoring of advertised prices of MAP Products, either directly or via the use of third parties. Third parties retained by Motherwell Products may engage in monitoring of Reseller advertisements and website advertising including, but not limited to, review of advertised prices.

10. It is Motherwell Products’ intention to administer this policy fairly and reasonably and in a progressive fashion. Intentional and/or repeated failure to abide by this MAP Policy will result in sanctions unilaterally imposed by Motherwell Products. The level of sanctions will be determined by Motherwell Products’ in its sole discretion and may include loss of eligibility for volume pricing, co-operative advertising or other programs, and may also include indefinite termination of sales to Reseller. Motherwell Products does not intend to do business with Resellers who degrade the image of Motherwell Products and its merchandise. Motherwell Products is not required to provide prior notice or issue warnings before taking any action under this policy.
